On Art:

In my opinion (and my opinion only) to be a truly great artist, one must know the world and how it works in every aspect that one wishes to dabble in. If I wish to draw cars, then I learn about cars. If I wish to draw cats, then I learn about cats. If I wish to draw fabric, spaceships, trains, etc...

Know it, then you can produce it in confidence...and ultimately tweak it to your heart's content however you want after that (whether this be realistically or fancifully; in the Digimon sense, I try to blur the line though it is mostly fanciful use of coding and theory). You see, art is a form of self expression and communication, and it comes in many forms. There is no right or wrong in how to do it except in not doing it, but in order to grow efficiently, I believe knowledge about the things we like and art fundamentals to be invaluable assets.

It is for this reason that I chose to study art: to produce it.

As an artist and a storyteller, the desire to express myself by any possible means is my main drive in doing work, and I study as much art as I can to get better, for my goal is to touch the world one day as one of the many who give others joy through the expression of creative ideas (or as unique as they can get). I hope to be a great animator one day who helps to make movies and shows that people can enjoy.

It is a simple goal really perhaps even out there in how I state it, but when you feel that you have been given so much in life (more than some others may receive) then it is only natural to want to give back in the best way you can; and in my case, the best way I can give anything is to make it real through whatever form of art I feel is proper.
